Welcome to Mikasaya. This Minshuku (see definition of ryokan styles below) is located in Beppu, a famous hot spring resort area. More specifically, it is in Kannawa Onsen hot spring area, where Ippen, a Buddhist monk, opened the hot springs for healing and therapy in the 13th century. There are 2 rock baths that are for men to use when it is busy, but they can be used by anyone when it is not busy. There is also a family bath that can be reserved for private use. Guests can even try drinking the hot spring water at Mikasaya! Fresh seafood from Beppu Bay and local vegetables are served in the meals. Check-in is after 13:00 and check-out is before 10:00 am. Parking is available.
