Welcome to the New Akan Hotel. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) is located on the shore of Lake Akanko in scenic Hokkaido, and has two buildings: 'Crystal Kan' (bekkan) and 'Shangri-la Kan' (shinkan). There are 370 rooms in all, including 262 Japanese style rooms and 108 Western style rooms (all have private baths and toilets). Shared hot spring baths are open throughout the day, including 2 indoor and 2 outdoor baths (same gender only). Traditional Japanese cuisine is served to guests at New Akan Hotel.
