Location: Minakami Onsen (Minakami Hot Spring), Gunma Prefecture

Welcome to the Minakami Fujiya Hotel. This Modern Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) has 35 Japanese-style rooms with rooms facing both the Tone River and the Minakami Mountains. There are shared indoor and outdoor hot spring baths at Minakami Fujiya Hotel for both women and men (same gender only), and the outdoor hot spring bath overlooks the Tone River. Fresh, seasonal cuisine is served throughout the year. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available. Warning: Please bring enough cash before you get on the train and go to the Minakami Fujiya Hotel as there are very few ATMs in this area.

Directions: From Tokyo Train Station: Take the Joetsu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to JR Jomo Kogen train station. At Jomo Kogen train station, take the bus to Minakami train station (a 25 minute bus ride). When you arrive at Minakami, the staff from Minakami Fujiya Hotel will pick you up.
From Ueno train station, Tokyo: Take the Tokyu (Express Train) on the Joetsu train line to Minakami train station. When you arrive at Minakami, the staff from Minakami Fujiya Hotel will pick you up.
