Welcome to the Yumoto Fujiya Hotel. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) has 139 guest rooms, and 53 of the rooms are combined Western and Japanese-style guest rooms (twin beds with a tatami mat room), 10 rooms are Japanese-style guest rooms, and the remainder are Western-style guest rooms. All guest rooms have their own private bath and toilet. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only). There is also a "family bath" which can be privately reserved by the guests. Please ask for details at the front desk when checking in. During the summer months guests can enjoy the ryokan's outdoor swimming pool. Check-in time is after 2:00pm and check-out time is before 11:00am. Important Travel Warning: It takes a long time to go through customs at Narita International Airport and then travel to Hakone. If your plane lands in the early morning at Narita International Airport, you can make it to a Hakone ryokan in time for dinner. However, if your plane arrives after 10:00am you WILL NOT be able to make it in time for dinner. You should stay at least 1 night in Tokyo and then go to Hakone the next day.
