Ibaraki Ryokan

Area Description

Ibaraki Prefecture is located in the Kanto Region of Japan, on the Pacific coast. It takes about 1 hour by limited express train to get to Mito, the capital of Ibaraki Prefecture, from Tokyo. It is also quite convenient to Narita International Airport. The most famous tourist attraction in Ibaraki Prefecture is Kairakuen garden, known as one of the three best Japanese-style landscape gardens in the country. There is also an abundance of natural sights for travelers to enjoy, including Fukuroda Falls, considered to be one of the most beautiful in Japan.
