Location: Yudanaka Onsen (Yudanaka Hot Spring), Nagano Prefecture

Welcome to Hotel Tsubakino. This Modern Ryokan has 27 guest rooms, including both Japanese and Western style rooms, and all of them have private shower rooms. The hotel also provides high speed internet access for its guests. There are shared indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, as well as private baths (for an additional fee) made from Hinoki wood or Japanese ceramic. Guests are served a mix of Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisine, including local Shinshu beef, at Hotel Tsubakino.

Directions: From Tokyo: Take the JR Shinkansen (bullet train) "Asama" to Nagano Station (about 90 minutes). Transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu line and take it to Yudanaka Station (about 80 minutes). From there it is about 3 minutes on foot to Hotel Tsubakino (a free pick-up service is available) .
From Kyoto/Osaka: Take JR Shinkansen to Nagoya Station (about 80 minutes). Transfer to the JR express "Shinano" and take it to Nagano Station (about 3 hours). Transfer to the Nagano Dentetsu line and take it to Yudanaka Station (about 80 minutes). From there it is about 3 minutes on foot to Hotel Tsubakino (a free pick-up service is available).
