Description

Ito Onsen

Location: Lake Shikotsuko, Hokkaido

Welcome to Ito Onsen. On the shores of Lake Shikotsuko, this is an old and run-down Standard Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) open only from April to November. Despite the shoddy condition of the ryokan, Ito Onsen offers guests both wonderful views of Lake Shikotsuko and open-air hot spring baths beside the lake. There are 13 Japanese-style rooms at Ito Onsen, and outdoor and indoor shared hot spring baths for women and men (same gender only) are available. The hot spring baths are open 24 hours a day, and the source of the hot spring is the active volcano Mount Eniwa which can be seen across the lake. Fresh, seasonal cuisine is served to the guests. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am.
