Description

Shirakawago

Location: Shirakawa-go (Ogimachi), Gifu Prefecture

Grandmother and daughter handle this Ryokan. The building is made by very unique style in Shirakawago area. At Night you can enjoy and relax a bath made from cypress.

Rihei is a quaint, family run Ryokan.
This Ryokan is built in the unique style that regular ryokan visitors to Shirakawago know and love. Between the Japanese hearth and the beautiful thatched roof, Rihei is a great place to lose your self from everyday life.

Snow Warning: There is a lot of snow in Shirakawa-go in January and February so please bring a pair of snow boots. Shirakawa-go can get up to 2 meters (over 6 feet) of snow in February.
