Welcome to Ikona Ryokan. This Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is built in the traditional "sukiya" style of Japanese architecture. Ikona Ryokan has 42 Japanese-style guest rooms, and all guest rooms have their own private bath and toilet. There are indoor hot spring baths and 4 outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only), and the hot spring baths are open from 3:00pm until 9:00am. There is also a "family bath" (privately reserved bath) for guests - please ask for details when checking in at the front desk. Traditional, Japanese-style cuisine is served to the guests at Ikona Ryokan. Check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out time is before 10:00am. Parking is available. Modern Ryokan

| Directions: From Izukyu-Shimoda train station (on the Izukyu Rail Line), it is a 20 minute bus ride to Hizume Bus Stop. From the bus stop, it is a 5 minute walk to Ikona Ryokan. |
