Hiranoya

Location: Takayama, Gifu Prefecture

Welcome to Hiranoya - a Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) located in central Takayama. While Hiranoya looks like a hotel at first glance, the Japanese style rooms and baths provide guests with a more traditional, Japanese atmosphere. There are 28 guest rooms, and the shared baths overlook the Miyagawa River and its famous Nakabashi Bridge. Traditional Japanese cuisine is served to the guests at Hiranoya. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available and some English is spoken. There is also a pick up service from JR Takayama train station.
