Description

Notoya-Ginzan

Location: Ginzan Onsen (Ginzan Hot Spring), Yamagata Prefecture

Welcome to Notoya-Ginzan. This wooden, 4 story Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is gorgeous with plenty of character and history for guests looking to experience traditional Japanese accommodation. There are 17 Japanese-style guest rooms in both wings of Notoya-Ginzan, and each guest room has its own private bath and toilet. There are 5 indoor and outdoor wooden and rock hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only) but the outdoor bath is closed during the winter season. There is also a "family bath" which means a sign can be hung outside the bath and guests can bathe privately. Fresh, local traditional Japanese cuisine is served. Check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is before 10:30 am.
