Location: Ginzan Onsen (Ginzan Hot Spring), Yamagata Prefecture

Welcome to Showakan. This wooden Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is located in the heart of Ginzan Onsen and it has 11 Japanese-style guest rooms. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only). Traditional, local Japanese cuisine is served to the guests at Showakan. Parking is available.

Directions: It is a 30 minute taxi ride from JR Oishida train station to Showakan. There is a shuttle bus service provided as well (reservations are required).
