Takinami

Location: Akayu Onsen (Akayu Hot Spring), Yamagata Prefecture

Welcome to Takinami. This Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) has a 300 year history as the residence of a local, wealthy landowner. Over the years, the buildings have been renovated and today it operates as a traditional ryokan. Takinami has 35 guest rooms, and 25 of the guest rooms have their own private bath and toilet. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same sex only). Traditional Japanese cuisine is served to the guests at Takinami. Check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out time is before 10:00am. Parking is available.
