Sansuiro

Location: Yugawara Onsen (Yugawara Hot Spring), Kanagawa Prefecture

Welcome to Sansuiro. This large, elegant 8 story Luxurious Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is set in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Sansuiro has 59 Japanese-style rooms and each room has its own private toilet and bath. There is also a private residence for those guests looking for a special place to relax. Shared indoor hot spring baths are available to both women and men (same gender only), and bathers can relax and gaze out at the ryokan's Japanese garden. Meals are served in the privacy of the guest rooms: and dinner is in the Japanese "kaiseki" style with 13 different dishes, while breakfast consists of 8 different dishes. A variety of fresh, seasonal seafood and vegetable dishes are served. Check-in time is after 14:30 and check-out time is before 10:30 am. Parking is available. Important Travel Warning: It takes a long time to go through customs at Narita International Airport and then travel to Hakone. If your plane lands in the early morning at Narita International Airport, you can make it to a Hakone ryokan in time for dinner. However, if your plane arrives after 10:00 am you WILL NOT be able to make it in time for dinner. You should stay at least 1 night in Tokyo and then go to Hakone the next day.
