Japanese Home Cooking Tour

Japanese Home Cooking (Sushi & Tempura)

Learn how to cook typical Japanese dishes such as Tempura, Sushi and other home favorites in a private home. Recipes in English are included so you can enjoy them at home.

You can enjoy making typical Japanese dishes and try them. You can make either "Sushi and Tempura" as a main course, plus other side dishes such as miso soup, and salad. Customers can learn typical Japanese dishes putting emphasis on the way the foods are presented, and the seasonal ingredients. It is a great way to learn about daily life of Japanese people and to connect with the culture.

Time and Prices
3-3.5 hours (including round trip taxi to your instructors house)

17,000 yen per person based on 1 guest
12,000 yen per person based on 2 guests or more

1. Extra charge will be required for a program outside business hours (Our business hours: 09:30-18:30)
2. Programs will be shortened if customers are late for the meeting time due to personal reasons.
3. We may have to use public transportation, depending on the location of your hotel.
4. Maximum of 9 people (Customers may be divided into several groups depending on the number)
5. Sorry but we cannot offer discounts to children
6. Other languages besides English can be arranged at an extra charge.
7. Observers will be charged a full price as well.

  1. Contact us by using our BOOK/INQUIRY Form with your preferred date(s).
  2. JGH will issue a confirmation with the date and time and answer any questions you may have.
  3. Your attendant pick you up to your hotel lobby and taken by taxi to your instructor house.
  4. You will be greeted by your instructor and given a short history of Japanese food.
  5. You will prepare about 3 meals made with ingredients that you can find in your country and then try the food.
  6. After eating and conversation your taxi will arrive to take you back to your hotel with your attendant.
