April 7
Guests arrive at Kansai International Airport (Osaka) at 17:50. A taxi limousine will pick you up and take you to the Brighton Hotel in Kyoto. (It takes about 2 1/2 hours but could be longer because of traffic)

April 8
*Guests will have breakfast at the hotel
09:30 Yuki will pick you up a the hotel, give you a map of Kyoto in English and explain the day's tour
10:00 Nanzenji Temple
11:00 Heian Shrine and Japanese Garden
12:00 Namikawa Cloisonne Ware Museum
13:30 Lunch at Restaurant Katsukura
14:30 Walk down Teramachi Shopping Street
15:30 Kiyomizu Temple
16:00 Walk through Ninenzaka Sannenzaka area
18:00 Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park
19:00 Dinner at Restaurant Issenyoshoku then a walk around the Gion area and Ponto-cho
21:30 Back to the hotel

April 9
*Breakfast at the hotel
10:00 Pottery Course - "Let's Make Your Own" - at your hotel (about 2 hours)
Free afternoon:
Yuki will give you some suggested routes such as:
- exploring the Kyoto Imperial Palace and its Japanese Gardens
- going downtown along Teramachi Antique Street
- visiting Kyoto's famous Nishiki Food Market Street

Yuki will give you detailed directions to all these places and any other areas you wish to explore

April 10

09:30 Yuki will pick you up at the hotel
10:00 Raku Musem
11:00 Nishijin walk (traditional handy craftman's area):
Katsuhiko Mizuno's Photo Gallery, Orinasukan, Aizen Kobo, Kumiko Minami Drowing Gallery
13:30 Lunch at Ryoanji Temple( Vegetarian Tofu feast)
14:30 Ryoanji Temple
15:30 Kinkakuji Temple and Afternoon Tea in the temple.
17:00 Transferring the hotelto Yuki's House in Kameoka, near Kyoto
19:00 Home-made Sushi Dinner at Yuki's House

April 11
* Breakfast in the garden at Yuki's House
Walk around the village of Kameoka and visit a bamboo handicraft maker. Buy flowers and learn flower arrangement from Yuki. Around lunchtime, go to Nanatanigawa Park and have a traditional Japanese Cherry Blossom Picnic (have lunch and a drink under the cherry blossom trees). Guests will return to Yuki's house, and after dinner Yuki will teach guests how to put on a Japanese Kimono.

April 12
*Breakfast in the garden at Yuki's House
10:00 Drive to the beautiful Japanese countryside and visit a professional pottery maker
13:00 Lunch at a Japanese restaurant on the way to Miyamacho (traditional farming village)
15:00 An afternoon dip at Hiyoshi Hot Spring
18:00 Shopping at a typical Japanese supermarket for dinner
19:00 Yuki will show you how to cook a Japanese dinner (Japanese sashimi, Vegetable Tempura, and Miso soup) and you will dine together

April 13
Preparing for your departure to your next destination. Yuki will help you with your train schedule and provide you with a sample tours of your next destination. Suggested destinations - Hiroshima, Miyajima, Takayama, Shirakawago, Hakone, Nikko, Tokyo. Yuki  will make guests Japanese-style Bentos (box lunches) for your train ride and take you to the train station.
