This is invaluable to human safety in performing fast turnarounds in reactors containing inert atmosphere.

The System features two-way communication and a dual supply, positive pressure self-demand air system. If the primary source is interrupted, the secondary system automatically takes over. Furthermore, each technician has a third air supply in the form of an egress bottle. To back up the whole system, the operation is continually monitored by a supervisor, safety catalyst technician (wearing same equipment and positioned for immediate entry into the reactor) and another technician at a remote console. All Team members are in constant communication with each other.
