Welcome to Ikoi-no-ie. This is a Standard Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is newly opened (February 2007) and conveniently located in central Kyoto. Some of the Japanese style guest rooms available come with private showers, baths and toilets, and some have shared facilities. There are no shared baths at Ikoi-no-ie, but a public bath called Hakusan-yu is located nearby. There is a communal kitchen and dining area, a shared PC with internet access, a washing machine (100 yen per load of laundry), rental bicycles (500 yen per day) and Skype telephone service, as well as private phones and LAN lines in each room. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out is before 10:00.
