Welcome to Wakamatsu. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) is divided into a "Honkan" (original building) and a "Bekkan" (newer 8 storey building). Some of the guest rooms in Wakamatsu's Bekkan face the ocean. There are 29 traditional Japanese-style rooms, eight in the Honkan and 21 in the Bekkan. Both the women's and the men's indoor hot spring baths can hold up to 20 guests, and they are open from 6:00am to 9:00am and from 3:00pm to midnight. The women's and men's outdoor hot spring baths can hold up to 7 guests, and they are open from 3:00pm to midnight. The outdoor baths at Wakamatsu have wonderful views of the ocean. A traditional, formal seafood dinner and a Japanese breakfast are served in the privacy of the guest rooms.
