Welcome to Aso Hakuun Sanso. This large Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) has 2 main buildings: a "honkan" (main building) and a "minamikan" (annex). There are 91 guest rooms at Aso Hakuun Sanso - 34 Japanese-style guest rooms and 57 combined Western and Japanese-style guest rooms. There are 2 indoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same gender only), and they are open from 15:00 until 22:00. There are also 2 outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same gender only), and they are open from 5:30 am until 23:00. Traditional Japanese-style cuisine is served to the guests in the ryokan's dining area and breakfast is buffet-style. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available.

Directions: It is a 4 minute taxi ride from JR Akamizu train station to Aso Hakuun Sanso. There is also a shuttle service available. When you arrive at the train station, please call the ryokan and they will come and pick you up.
