Welcome to Yatsusan Ryokan. This Traditional Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is a very old ryokan, originally built over 140 years ago during Japan's Edo Period. The owners have worked hard over the years to maintain the Edo-style look of the buildings as much as possible. There are 3 main buildings at Yatsusan Ryokan - the Honkan, the Bekkan, and the Kangetsuso. 24 traditional Japanese-style rooms are available at Yatsusan Ryokan, and each room is designed differently to maintain the ryokan's uniqueness. Additionally, this ryokan has wonderful indoor and outdoor hot spring baths (same gender only). Traditional Japanese cuisine is served to the guests. Check-in is after 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00 am. Please Note: This ryokan is not located in Takayama.
