Welcome to Hakone-Ginyu. This Modern Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) is built on the side of a mountain and all guest rooms have views of Hakone Mountain. There are 17 Japanese-style and 3 Western-style guest rooms and all guest rooms have a private outdoor hot spring bath on the terrace. There are 3 indoor and 2 outdoor hot spring baths for both women and men (same gender only). Traditional Japanese-style seafood cuisine is served to the guests at Hakone-Ginyu. Check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is before 11:00 am. Parking is available. Important Travel Warning: It takes a long time to go through customs at Narita International Airport and then travel to Hakone. If your plane lands in the early morning at Narita International Airport, you can make it to a Hakone ryokan in time for dinner. However, if your plane arrives after 10:00 am you WILL NOT be able to make it in time for dinner. You should stay at least 1 night in Tokyo and then go to Hakone the next day.
