Umemaru Ryokan

Location: Awajishima, Hyogo Prefecture

Welcome to Umemaru Ryokan. This Modern Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) has 49 rooms total: 29 Japanese style and 1 Japanese-Western style guest rooms in the honkan; and 18 Japanese and 3 Japanese-Western style rooms in the bekkan. In the honkan, 18 rooms have private baths (not hot spring water) and toilets and 10 have private toilets only, whereas in the bekkan, all 21 rooms have private baths (not hot spring water) and toilets. In addition, there are 2 indoor, public hot spring baths (same gender only), open 15:00-24:00 and 6:00-9:00. Japanese seafood, including sea bream, is served to guests at Umemaru Ryokan. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out is before 10:00. Parking is available.

Directions: It takes 60 minutes by highway bus from JR Maiko station (pick-up service at Awajishima Minami IC bus stop) or 70 minutes by express bus from JR Sannomiya station (pick-up service at Riku no Minato Seidan IC bus stop) to reach Umemaru Ryokan. A reservation is needed for pick-up service.
