Welcome to Jijuden. This Modern Ryokan is located in the vicinity of the world-famous Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. Jijuden has 7 Western style guest rooms. The Main House was built before the 2nd World War, in a traditional style of architecture called “Sukiya”, a style used for building teahouses. The house was first used as a retirement villa for an army general. Now this is where Jijuden guests can relax, read and eat.
