Nagomi Ryokan Yuu is located in the city of Kyoto. It is a traditional "Machiya" style Japanese wooden house.
This Machiya house was used as "Ochaya" (a home for groups of working "Geisha and Maiko") around 80 years ago and has recently been newly renovated.
Nagomi Ryokan Yuu are located on the back street of small shopping arcade in a peaceful local residential area. Although they are situated only a 10 minutes walk away from Kyoto Station they are located very conveniently for sightseeing.
All the guest rooms are classic Japanese-style, there is a courtyard Japanese garden, tea room for Japanese tea ceremonies and a relaxing cafe serving breakfast and coffee to make you feel as comfortable as if you were staying in your own home.
