Welcome to Uosa Ryokan. This ryokan is the oldest ryokan in Nara and it opened for business at the end of the Edo Period in 1862. Uosa Ryokan is a very large Modern Ryokan (see definition of ryokan styles below) with 60 Japanese-style rooms, and all rooms have their own private bath and toilet. Uosa Ryokan also has a Japanese garden for the guests to enjoy. There are indoor shared baths for both women and men (same gender only). There is also a "Family Bath" where families can hang a sign outside of the bath and bathe privately. Check-in time is after 15:30 and check-out time is before 10:00 am.
