Attention: This ryokan is located in Shimabara, Nagasaki Prefecture - a 2 hour and 12 minute train ride from Nagasaki. Welcome to the Tsukumo Hotel. This Ryokan Hotel (see definition of ryokan styles below) is located on the waterfront in Shimabara, near the active volcano Mount Unzen. There are 62 Japanese and Western-style rooms in the Tsukumo Hotel which consists of a 7 story "Honkan" (main building) and a 5 story "Bekkan" (annex). In Tsukumo Hotel's Bekkan, guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor shared hot spring baths (same gender only) and enjoy their ocean views. The indoor hot spring baths are open from 12:00 noon until midnight. The women's and men's outdoor hot spring baths are open from 12:00 noon to 20:00 and from 5:00 to 9:00, and they can both hold up to 40 bathers. Saunas are also available. Check-in time is after 15:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 am. Parking is available.
