Welcome to Daichinoiro Kagetsutei. This Modern Ryokan is a five story Japanese style inn. While it is in the center of the Shizuoka city, the surroundings are quiet. All rooms are Japanese style. It is in a very convenient location for sightseeing in Shizuoka city, which has a lot of historical monuments. Nearby attractions include art galleries, museum and beaches! Strawberry-picking is very popular among Japanese tourists and is available at nearby strawberry farm.

Directions: Located only a 15 minutes walk from Rendaiji Station.

From Tokyo: Take the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Tokyo train station to Atami train station. At Atami train station, change to the Izukyu train line and continue to Shimoda train station. It is a 2 hour and 45 minute train ride. From Shimoda train station, it is a 10 minute taxi ride to the Daichinoiro Kagetsutei.

There is a free shuttle bus service to the ryokan from Shimoda Train station. But advanced reservations are needed for this service.
