A taxi limousine will pick you up and take you to the Brighton
Hotel in Kyoto. (It takes about 2 1/2 hours but could be longer

13:30 Lunch at Restaurant Katsukura
14:30 Walk down Teramachi Shopping Street
15:30 Kiyomizu Temple
16:00 Walk through Ninenzaka Sannenzaka area
18:00 Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park
19:00 Dinner at Restaurant Issenyoshoku then a walk around the
Gion area and Ponto-cho
21:30 Back to the hotel

- visiting Kyoto's famous Nishiki Food Market Street

Walk around the village of Kameoka and visit a bamboo handicraft maker.
Buy flowers and learn flower arrangement from Yuki. Around lunchtime,
go to Nanatanigawa Park and have a traditional Japanese Cherry Blossom
Picnic (have lunch and a drink under the cherry blossom trees). Guests
will return to Yuki's house, and after dinner Yuki will teach guests
how to put on a Japanese Kimono. |

10:00 Drive to the beautiful Japanese countryside and visit a professional
pottery maker
13:00 Lunch at a Japanese restaurant on the way to Miyamacho (traditional
farming village)

18:00 Shopping at a typical Japanese supermarket for dinner
19:00 Yuki will show you how to cook a Japanese dinner (Japanese sashimi,
Vegetable Tempura, and Miso soup) and you will dine together |

Preparing for your departure to your next destination. Yuki will help you with your train schedule and provide you with a sample
tours of your next destination. Suggested destinations - Hiroshima, Miyajima,
Takayama, Shirakawago, Hakone, Nikko, Tokyo. Yuki will make
guests Japanese-style Bentos (box lunches) for your train ride
and take you to the train station.
